This new course gives four hours elective continuing education credit and meets the mandatory requirement for BIC’s renewing in 2027-2028. This course and accompanying manual were developed to guide Brokers-in-Charge through the legal expectations and practical realities of managing a compliant real estate office. Built around the official South Carolina Real Estate Commission (SCREC) inspection checklist, this course takes a hands on, scenario based approach to demystifying what inspectors look for and why. Whether you're preparing for an upcoming inspection or just want to tighten internal processes, this course will help you understand the law, avoid common violations, and confidently lead your firm through any compliance review.

No Show Policy

Our continuing education classes are free for Western Upstate Association members, and have limited availability. If you register for an event and do not attend, you will be assessed a $25 no show fee. If you are unable to attend, please let us know 24 hours before the event begins to avoid this fee and so someone else can fill your spot. Thank you!
